How does it work and when is it indicated for use?
The composition of the drug Kot Bayun is based on natural plant components. They have a gentle effect on the animal’s body and do not have a negative impact on the functioning of internal organs and systems. The components have the following effect:
- calm the nervous system;
- relieve fear and nervousness;
- help correct behavior;
- relieve spasms.
The medicine does not have a mutagenic effect and does not interfere with the normal development of offspring.
Cat Bayun is necessary for cats in the following cases:
- Fear of something. Fear can be caused by noisy devices, such as a vacuum cleaner, car rides and other phenomena. It can manifest itself in different ways. Some cats hide and refuse to make contact, others close themselves off, and still others behave aggressively towards members of the household (they can scratch and throw themselves).
- Stressful situations. They usually occur when going to the veterinarian, having guests, having animals in the house, visiting exhibitions or crowded places. The animal feels uncomfortable, which is why its behavior changes (it shuts down, refuses to play, shows aggression, and so on).
- Aggression. Sometimes aggression manifests itself in an animal due to its natural origin. Cats are predatory animals. The hunting instinct can arise in them even for no apparent reason.
- Change in behavior caused by sexual estrus. Without a partner, the animal may scream loudly, mark territory, imitate sexual intercourse, or become overly excitable in other ways.
- Hyperactivity and changes in natural behavior. If pathological changes are noted in behavior, for example, eating feces, excessive licking, measures should be taken immediately.
Taking the drug allows you to normalize the behavior and mental state of the animal, avoid damage to furniture and other property, and ensure a calm environment in the house. The phytocomplex will help the animal more easily survive stressful situations caused by events that are unusual for it.

Instructions for use
The instructions from the manufacturer indicate how to take Kot Bayun for cats.
Water solution
- Shake the bottle slightly so that the components are evenly distributed.
- Open, replace the rubber stopper with a dropper cap.
- Measure out the required number of drops.
- Cover with a cap and store in the refrigerator.
Since the medicine does not have preservatives, it must be stored in the refrigerator after opening. You should take the product out before use so that it warms up to room temperature.
A single dose is 2 ml. Measure using a syringe or a teaspoon (half is required). Drops are given in pure form, soldered from a spoon, or diluted in a small amount of clean drinking water. The medicine should be given 3-4 times a day, and the duration of treatment is 5-7 days.
Consult your physician before use.
Pills
Cats should be force-fed Kot Bayun tablets. If this procedure is too painful and difficult, they can be crushed and diluted in a small amount of water, and then given to drink. For this reason, drops are considered more convenient and easier to use.
You need to give 2 tablets at a time. Repeat the procedure 3-4 times, and the course of treatment, as when using an infusion, lasts from 5 to 7 days, depending on the condition of the pet, the characteristics of the behavior disorder and the neglect of the problem.
General recommendations
In order for the drug to bring maximum benefit and effectively eliminate mental disorders, it must be given on an empty stomach. This way, the plant components can quickly be absorbed into the bloodstream through the intestines and affect the nervous system.
The medicine should be given 20-30 minutes before feeding. If it was not possible to give the drug before meals, you should wait one, or preferably two, hours.
If a medication is missed, treatment should be resumed as soon as possible and continue according to the current regimen.
The opened solution should be stored in the refrigerator for no more than 7 days, after which it must be disposed of. If the bottle shows signs of mold, do not use the liquid for treatment. Tablets and closed drops should be stored at temperatures from 0 to +25˚C according to the dates indicated on the packaging.
Contraindications and side effects
Kot Bayun should not be given to cats under 10 months of age. During this period, the formation of the psyche occurs, so the influence of external factors should be minimized. A contraindication for use is individual intolerance to the components. And although allergic reactions occur quite rarely, it should be noted that the drug contains a large amount of bioactive substances.
The drug can be used for pregnant and lactating animals. It does not have a negative effect on offspring.
Please note that the drug contains valerian extract. If adverse reactions to this plant have previously been observed, you should stop taking the medicine.
The phytocomplex does not cause side effects. The exception is rare allergic reactions. If they appear, you should stop taking the drug. Depending on the manifestation of the allergy, symptomatic treatment may be required. In this case, you need to contact a veterinarian.
The instructions do not indicate the compatibility of the medication with other drugs.
Owner reviews
Larisa, owner of several cats:
“New animals often appear in our house. To make friends with each other, I use a herbal infusion. Pets drink it themselves. The drug helps reduce aggression, but there is no drowsiness or other side effects. There are always several bottles of Kota Bayun in my house.”
Marina, owner of a mongrel cat:
“There was a cat at the dacha. She lived with us all summer. When we moved to the city, we took it with us to our apartment. For Margot this turned out to be very stressful. She became restless and aggressive. The veterinarian recommended Kot Bayun. After 3 days, the behavior returned to normal, and the cat began to allow itself to be stroked and picked up.”
