Application procedure
Hepatovet can only be given to a cat exclusively by mouth. Shake the medicine thoroughly before use.
It is best to force the solution into the cat's mouth. The dosage is determined individually, it is calculated in accordance with the body weight of your furry. The product is given to the cat 3 times a day for 2-3 weeks.
Application
Indications for use of the drug
Hepatovet for cats is prescribed in the following cases:
- for acute and chronic liver diseases (hepatitis, lipidosis, cirrhosis, etc.);
- as an adjuvant in the treatment of helminthic infestations;
- during the use of tablets that have a toxic effect on the liver (for example, during treatment of cancer);
- in the presence of infections that are characterized by intoxication of the body.
Hepatovet is a complex drug that has a pronounced effect, so it is not recommended to use it without consulting a veterinarian. If it is not possible to take your cat to the clinic, at least call the veterinarian on duty.
I have long made it a habit to keep the veterinary clinic’s business card in a visible place. One of them lies right in the first aid kit with cat medicines. And the second one (with the veterinarian’s mobile phone number) hangs on the refrigerator. This is also very convenient because noticing the business card every day makes it difficult to forget, for example, about the next vaccination. By the way, you can keep the veterinarian’s notes right there.
Admission rules
If your pet weighs no more than 3 kg, then the dose should be 1 ml. A cat from 3 to 6 kg should be given 2 ml of suspension at a time. A pet weighing 6 kilograms or more should be given 3 ml of hepatovet.
Before giving medication to your pet, you must wash your hands thoroughly with soap. If the medicine gets into your eyes or on your skin, rinse with plenty of water. If even after 2 hours you feel pain in your eye, you should consult an ophthalmologist.
How it affects the body
The amino acid methionine contained in the composition allows you to break down fats much faster. This, in turn, has a positive effect on blood cholesterol levels.
Methionine is also able to influence blood circulation in blood vessels. Therefore, all allergic reactions will disappear and the quality of the wool will improve.
The following components of hepatovet also bring great benefits:
- Phospholipids stabilize the functioning of liver enzymes. For this reason, toxins will be quickly eliminated from the body, and metabolism will also speed up significantly.
- L-ornithine has a good effect on liver cells, so tissue regeneration will become rapid. L-ornithine helps fight jaundice and hepatitis.
- Immortelle has a beneficial effect on the process of bile secretion. The structure of hepatocytes in the liver is quickly restored.
- Milk thistle extract neutralizes all the harmful effects of toxins on the pet’s body. Therefore, if you complete the entire course of treatment, you can completely restore liver function.

Release forms and description of the medicine
The liver of cats is the most vulnerable place in the body, since harmful substances and toxins accumulate in it, especially after illnesses and a long course of therapy. The drug is able to cope with severe intoxication of the body, toxins and neoplasms.
Hepatovet for cats is sold in the form of a suspension in bottles of different volumes. The medicine has a rich, specific smell, so it will be impossible to confuse it with other medicines after exposure. The packaging, in addition to the container with the contents, includes a convenient dispenser, instructions for use of the drug, which contains all the necessary information.
Hepatovet for cats must be stored in a cool and dark place, but the possibility of freezing the contents is excluded, otherwise all beneficial properties will be lost.
Possible side effects
During the first time after using the drug, you may notice increased salivation. But this will pass soon, so don't worry too much.

If your pet has the following health problems, then taking hepatovet is strictly prohibited:

Reviews from breeders:
Olga: Two months ago, my pet Stepan started having health problems. At first his fur began to fall out a lot, and later I noticed blood in his feces. This symptom scared me very much, so I immediately went to the veterinary clinic. After the examination, Hepatovet was prescribed, as well as a vitamin complex. The medicine is effective, because after a week I noticed that the symptoms of the pathology began to disappear. But there is one drawback: the cat categorically refused to take the drug voluntarily. That’s why my husband helped me; he held Stepan. I recommend Hepatovet to all cat owners, it is a truly effective remedy.
Konstantin: When our cat Zephyrchik got sick (he refused to eat and play, lay in bed for days on end, and only occasionally went out to eat), we immediately went to see a veterinarian. At the clinic, it was revealed that due to the development of gastritis, another pathology was progressing - hepatosis. Then the vet recommended Hepatovet to us. After the course of treatment, the cat's condition improved noticeably. The product is good, but it is stored for only 3 weeks from the moment the package is opened.
