Hemobalance 5 ml

Composition, release form

Hemobalance looks like a colorless liquid with an amber tint.
Packaged in sterile glass containers with a volume of 5, 100, 500 ml. The bottles also have a protective aluminum cap, which eliminates the possibility of introducing germs. Each substance included in the composition enhances the effect of other components and has a positive effect on the animal’s body. The composition compensates for the lack of vitamins in cats.

Main active substances

L-lysine hydrochloride is an amino acid responsible for the creation of bone tissue and the absorption of phosphorus and calcium. Also promotes the formation of red blood cells. A deficiency of this amino acid in the body causes fatigue, anemia, decreased concentration and disorders of the reproductive system.

DL methionine is an amino acid that promotes metabolism. Synthesizes tissue proteins, hormones, enzymes. Lack of methionine contributes to loss of appetite, muscle atrophy and impaired kidney function.

Glycine is responsible for good memory and emotional balance.

Biotin takes part in metabolic processes.

Cobalt sulfate synthesizes hemoglobin and participates in metabolic processes. Helps remove fluid from the body and produces thyroid hormones. In case of cobalt deficiency, anemia, loss of appetite, exhaustion and deterioration in the appearance of the coat occurs.

Vitamin B2 promotes growth, development, and improves immunity. A lack of vitamin can be identified by such signs as: hair loss, rare breathing and slow pulse, decreased body temperature, and malaise. This also affects the condition of the cat’s eyes and skin: clouding of the cornea, cracks. Kittens with a lack of vitamin B2 are developmentally delayed.

Vitamin B6 supports the functioning of the nervous system. Its deficiency can cause delays in growth and development in kittens. If an adult cat does not receive the required amount of vitamin with food, then it may develop seizures and various skin diseases.

Vitamin B4 (choline) is necessary for animals to prevent fatty liver.

Vitamin B8 is needed for fat metabolism. A lack of vitamin can lead to increased cholesterol levels, general weakness and cramps in the paws. Hair problems are also possible.

B12 is necessary for the maturation of red blood cells and the formation of antibodies. A lack of this vitamin will lead to decreased fertility in cats and the birth of weak kittens. A rough cat with developed dermatitis, poor appetite, and gas formation are the first symptoms. In more advanced cases, disorders such as paralysis, poor coordination and unsteady gait may develop.

Indications for use

Hemobalance has a wide range of applications:

  • Using the drug during pregnancy will improve stamina and prepare the cat for the upcoming birth. The cat will recover faster, and the kittens will develop better;
  • Hemobalance can prevent the appearance and development of most diseases associated with a lack of vitamins, as well as prolong the activity, endurance and youth of your pet;
  • Prescribed in conjunction with other medications for recovery after major operations.
  • Able to eliminate side effects from the use of other medications;
  • Recommended for use if the animal is exposed to increased stress;
  • Anemia and blood loss;
  • Liver dysfunction;
  • If the integrity of the coat is damaged;
  • For allergies and diseases such as bronchitis, pneumonia, gastritis, etc.;
  • For poisoning and infections;

Hemobalance is an effective immunostimulant. Helps recovery in the shortest possible time and improves body tone.

Allergic reactions, small rashes on the skin, decreased activity, and disruption of digestive processes are possible. Dogs may experience swelling of the muzzle and muscle spasms. If adverse symptoms appear, animals are prescribed another medicine.

Advice! After the first dropper or intramuscular injection, carefully monitor the behavior and condition of the animals. When using in groups, test the drug on 5–10 individuals.

Hemobalance is not prescribed simultaneously with iron-containing drugs. You can use a vitamin-mineral complex in conjunction with other medications that are used for therapeutic therapy and preventive purposes.

Application and dosage

The drug is administered intramuscularly to four-legged mustachioed pets. In rare cases, intravenous administration of the drug is carried out, which is pre-diluted with saline solutions or electrolytes. Sometimes veterinarians allow cats to drink the product.

For the purpose of prevention, the medication is administered to the animal no more than 2 times a week. In the case of complex therapy, the number of injections can be increased to 4, but only as prescribed by a veterinarian.

It should be remembered that if there is no even the slightest improvement in your pet’s health after 10 days of therapy, you should consult a specialist. In such situations, adjustments are made to the medication intake or it is replaced by another drug. The standard single dosage for pets weighing less than 5 kg is 0.25 ml, for cats over 5 kg - 0.5 ml.

When using a vitamin-mineral complex to eliminate upcoming nervousness and stress, the injection is given 24 hours before the expected event.

Directions for use and dosage

For treatment, the drug is injected every 1-2 days for 2-4 weeks. For the purpose of prevention, it is enough to make 1-2 injections per week. To maintain the body, the cat is given 1 injection once. It is advisable to consult with a specialist first. What doses of Hemobalance are suitable for cats: For pets weighing up to 5 kg, no more than 0.25 ml is administered once. For those weighing over 5 kg, the dosage is increased to 0.5 ml.

Depending on the reason for prescribing Hemobalance, the required dosage of the composition is calculated. Most often, the drug is prescribed as part of intravenous or intramuscular injections, although it can also be prescribed for feeding cats.

The amount of medication used during treatment is calculated based on the weight of the animal:

  • cats up to 5 kg - 0.25 ml, 2-3 times a week for 7-10 days;
  • pets over 5 kg - 0.5 ml, 2-3 times a week for 7-10 days.

For preventive purposes, the specified amount of solution is administered once a week (the duration of the course is prescribed by the veterinarian), and to maintain the protective functions of the body and its rapid recovery after stressful situations, the injection is given once.

Dosage and administration order

The description of the vitamin complex says that the drug is administered intravenously or intramuscularly. If a dropper is used for this, Hemobalance can be combined with amino acid mixtures. The dosage is selected according to the size of the pet:

  • dwarf breeds weighing up to 5 kg – 0.25 ml;
  • medium dogs (5-15 kg) – 0.5 ml;
  • large dogs (over 15 kg) – 1 ml.

The duration of treatment and the number of injections are selected depending on the disease:

  • for recovery after surgery, the complex is administered intravenously at intervals of 2 days;
  • with increased loads, the dog is pierced with a course for several days;
  • pets who are recovering from protracted illnesses are given 3-5 droppers with an interval of 2 days until the animal is completely cured;
  • pregnant and lactating bitches are given an injection into a muscle or vein 2-3 times a week (the treatment regimen may vary depending on the condition of the dog);
  • for the purpose of prevention, an injection is given once a week, regardless of the breed.

Some veterinarians recommend taking the drug orally. The effect is lost. Therefore, this method of drug administration is more suitable for preventing diseases.

enhances each other's effect. It is noteworthy that these components take into account the physiological needs of the animal to the maximum extent. Hemobalance can be confidently called a unique drug that has no analogues identical in composition.

The following components can be distinguished as part of Hemobalance:

Contraindications and precautions

An allergic reaction to Hemobalance is a contraindication, but in veterinary practice such a phenomenon is rarely observed. It cannot be combined with iron supplements or mixed with other medications in the same syringe. After test use, it is necessary to observe the animal and evaluate the body’s response to the drug.

Of course, the first thing that worries any person when using a particular drug is the possible complications from its use. Of course, this issue will also be relevant for responsible cat owners, so before injecting “Hemobalance” into your pet, it is worth assessing the likelihood of allergic reactions as a result of the individual sensitivity of his body to the constituent components of this medication. There are no other serious contraindications to the use of the composition in the instructions.

In any case, if you notice any deviations in your pet’s well-being or behavior while using Hemobalance, you should stop using it before consulting a veterinarian. It is likely that in your particular case it is better to find an alternative version of such a drug.

Did you know? Biologically, a cat's brain is much closer to a human's than the same organ in dogs. The same areas as in humans are responsible for the expression of emotions in these small predators.

Composition and release form of the drug Hemobalance

Hemobalance is available in the form of a solution in dark glass bottles of 5, 10, 100 and 500 ml.

Hemobalance is available in dosages of 5, 10, 100 and 500 ml

This is a complex preparation that contains amino acids, vitamins and minerals:

  • iron ammonium citrate, which is necessary for the synthesis of hemoglobin; a sufficient amount of it prevents the development of anemia;
  • nicotinamide (or vitamin PP), involved in protein and carbohydrate metabolism. If there is a deficiency of this vitamin in cats, the mucous membranes of the mouth may be affected, stomatitis may develop, the skin will peel, and hair will fall out. With severe hypovitaminosis, the animal suffers from convulsions and paralysis;
  • Glycine is an inhibitory amino acid that acts as a mild sedative on cats during periods of stress or estrus. As part of complex treatment, glycine helps nourish brain tissue, for example, after a stroke;
  • riboflavin (vitamin B2) has a wide spectrum of action - it regulates the function of the retina and prevents inflammation of the mucous membranes, normalizes digestion, and has a positive effect on the reproductive system;
  • cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) is necessary for the normal functioning of the hematopoietic system - it affects the synthesis of red blood cells and the maintenance of normal hemoglobin levels. It also improves the functioning of the liver and nervous system. In addition, cyanocobalamin is a necessary component of the immune response, activating the processes of antibody formation. Isolated cyanocobalamin is often administered before surgery to improve blood clotting and after surgery to accelerate regeneration processes and increase hemoglobin levels;
  • Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6 derivative) regulates the functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system, participates in amino acid metabolism and reduces capillary permeability, which plays an important role in preventing the development of edema due to allergies. Hypovitaminosis B6 leads to anemia, convulsions, atrophy of the immune system organs and, accordingly, a severe decrease in immunity;
  • D-panthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid, it accelerates the regeneration of the skin and mucous membranes and normalizes intestinal function. Panthenol is most popular in the form of ointments and sprays, but when taken orally it is also highly effective.
  • biotin is a vitamin that is involved in the functioning of muscles and the nervous system, and also has a beneficial effect on the coat, giving it shine and thickness;
  • Inositol also has an effect on the skin and coat, but its main function is to normalize fat metabolism and maintain a healthy weight;
  • cobalt sulfate is involved in hematopoiesis, hemoglobin production and regulation of the thyroid gland;
  • copper sulfate is mainly used to combat helminthic infestations;
  • choline bitartrate, as a component of acetylcholine, is involved in the transmission of nerve impulses, providing the heart, liver and skeletal muscles with energy;
  • L-lysine hydrochloride promotes the absorption of phosphorus and calcium, which are necessary for the health of the skeletal system, and also has a positive effect on the condition of the reproductive system;
  • DL-methionine is an antioxidant that protects the liver from damage and also promotes the absorption of nutrients.

How does hemobalance work for dogs?

Hemobalance belongs to the group of complex preparations containing useful substances such as:

  • B vitamins;
  • microelements, including copper, cobalt;
  • amino acids.

The components are selected in such a way that they complement each other perfectly. They in no way suppress, but only enhance each other’s effects. This drug contains such a set of substances to maximally satisfy the physiological needs of the dog.

First of all, the positive effect of consuming hemobalance affects the energy metabolism in the dog’s cells. In addition, it normalizes hematopoiesis, hemoglobin and red blood cell levels.

The result of taking hemobalance is an improvement in the saturation of hemoglobin with oxygen, as well as acceleration of its delivery to the tissues. This medicine also improves the immune system, making the body better able to resist various viruses and bacteria.

The beneficial effects of hemobalance are associated with liver function. This medicine lowers alanine aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartate aminotransferase (AST) levels. At the same time, the organ’s ability to produce proteins increases, and pigment and carbohydrate metabolism is normalized.

The benefits of hemobalance are also reflected in the functioning of the kidneys, glomerular filtration increases, as well as diuresis. The components included in the medicine stimulate the growth of muscle mass in the animal, allowing it to recover faster after illnesses and high stress.

This drug is also indicated as a therapeutic or prophylactic agent. It can not only correct nutritional deficiencies caused by poor diet. It helps animals better tolerate changes in environment, diet and vaccinations.

Very often it is included in the diet of dogs before exhibitions, after moving to a new place of residence, as a result of which it is possible to reduce the stress load on the body. Hemobalance is also useful for dogs because it helps in the treatment of many different diseases.

This medicine can eliminate anemia, vitamin deficiency, and also compensate for the lack of certain microelements in the diet. The drug is also indicated during the recovery period after infectious diseases, surgery, and blood loss. It is recommended to give it to dogs in a weakened state and when exhausted.

Considering that hemobalance improves the functioning of the kidneys and liver, it is very useful in the treatment of hepatitis and nephritis, as well as poisoning. It can help in the treatment of injuries and skin diseases due to its ability to normalize tissue trophism and accelerate the process of regeneration of the skin, muscles and bones.

As a result of his adoption, stronger puppies are born, while the young mother manages to retain enough strength and energy to feel good and care for her offspring. Hemobalance eliminates problems with feeding milk, which is sufficient even with a large litter.
