It is not recommended to give food to your baby from the table, because in this case he will become a “beggar”. You need to pour filler into his tray, like the previous owners had. All night he meows and meows, as if calling for his mother. I took him to my bed. He settled down at my head and after that he always slept in this place. If someone thinks that this is too much, then they can come up with their own methods to calm the kitten in a new home. Even now I say that Fluffy is my cat love for life.

From personal experience they can say that when we adopted a fairly adult kitten (about 4-5 months), for the first two days I was next to my “son”. I so wanted a cat in our family, and this joyful event happened. In advance, we purchased a bowl with two compartments for food and water, a tray, filler, a scoop for cleaning the “toilet,” and several toys (a mouse, a fishing rod). That's basically all our purchases. We didn’t buy food or a scratching post (that was our mistake).

This condition of the kitten usually lasts a couple of days. In order for a kitten to have a successful first day in a new home, you need to prepare accordingly. You cannot speak to him in a raised tone. Little by little you need to get used to holding hands, stroking them after the baby has eaten, then he is relaxed and in the mood for contact. If you pick up a fluffy in your arms against his will, he may become even more afraid. We need to wait, and soon he himself will decide to climb onto his owner’s lap.

The baby will not yet have time to get acquainted with his surroundings, and ahead of him lies the most difficult period of being in a new home - the first night. To make the first 24 hours less difficult for the kitten, you should place the kitten in its crib, located next to the head of the owner's bed. You need to pet the kitten, scratch it behind the ears, talk to it affectionately and leave it to sleep. If he runs over to the owner's bed, you should return the pet to his place if you do not want to accustom him to the owner's bed. The baby will gradually get tired and fall asleep.
